Torviscas
The smaller Playa Torviscas (Torviscas beach)
Fanabe and Torviscas are the northern areas of Playa de las Americas, and are in a different the administration area of Adeje. The central and southern areas of Playa de las Americas are in the Arona region.
The area administration now call the coastal area Costa Adeje. Generally speaking, Puerto Colon, Fanabe, Torviscas and playa del Duque are more upmarket than the Arona area of Playa de las Americas which has been taken over by the younger groups of people wanting the more hectic nightlife of the Veronicas and Starco's area of central Playa de las Americas.
Fanabe and Torviscas being very popular with families. These areas are very near to the famous Aquapark Octopus which is located just inland of the TF1 Motorway to the rear of Torviscas.
Playa de Fanabe and Playa Fanabe have a fabulous sea frontage with a wide promenade with shops, bars and restaurants
The resort is ideal for families and couples.
Fanabe and Torviscas Beaches
The wide sandy beaches are protected by stone groins. The beaches are amongst the best on Tenerife
The main promenade runs the full length of Fanabe & Torviscas Sea front behind the sea front Litoral Shopping Centre and continues on to Los Cristianos in one direction and La Caleta in the other.
There are 2 further promenades one in front of the shopping centre and the other next to the beach. With steps & disability ramps down to the beach.

On the quieter northern end of Playa Fanabe beach is a grass knoll. Both the beach & the grass area provide a more relaxing area away from the hustle & bustle further down the coast. |

Various activity areas are provided with kids play grounds on the beach and the beach promenade in front of the Litoral shopping centre and further along is a crazy golf course |

Water Sports on Fanabe Beach
Enjoy the selection of Water sports available from Fanabe beach, they are great fun and are available all year
You can choose from
- Jet Ski's, about €35 Single, €40 Double before Noon, more expensive after.
- Banana boat. about €12 an hour
- Parascending, about €30 per person before Noon, more expensive after
- Pedalos which can take up to 4 people, about €12 an hour
More watersports are available inland at the Water Parks Aqualand & Siam Park and at Puerto Colon harbour

Bars & Restaurants
Almost the entire sea front is alive with bars & restaurants in the Litoral shopping centre and the Centro de Costa shopping centre. A further selection can be found at the other shopping centres.
The famous Exit Palace and its Rockstory show is also nearby inland from Puerto Colon i San E. The shopping centre at Puerto Colon harbour is also brimming with restaurants, cafes & bars.

Faro Chill Art Night Club
The top quality sound system and DJ Jacobo Padilla add to the fabulous atmosphere of the Faro Chill Art Night Club.
Faro is Spanish for lighthouse and the club is easy to spot with the small lighthouse standing on the clubs roof terrace with a cocktail bar and stunning all round views of the beach and town.
The dance floor starts to get busy around 2 am, and the roof terrace is popular before that time.
Look out for party nights at the club.

The Sound of Musicals Show bar
The Sound of Musicals is a fabulous show taken from the hit musicals from London's West End, New York's Broadway & other show time centres in Chicago & Las Vegas.
Starting at 8pm with meeting of the cast until 11:15 pm. Meal included
