Playa del Duque
Playa del Duque DescriptionPlaya del Duque is a newly built resort on the Costa Adeje and it is a well-maintained, with easy access to all surrounding areas. It has a quieter and more reserved atmosphere than other resorts in Tenerife and is also very good for water sports. You can easily get into Playa de las Americas by bus when you want to sample the local nightlife. This more up market area is more suited to people not wanting intense night life but a more refined holiday enjoying the good location, fine restaurants and good facilities The majority of hotels, restaurants, bars, cafes and shopping centres are of a high class quality. Most of the hotels in the resort are very large and tend to be either 4 or 5 star high class hotels

Airport hotel transfersThis is now an extremly popular method of travel from or to the airport and your hotel or apartment complex.and you have the choice of a few transfer options such as shuttle, private transfer and taxi. The shuttle options are the lowest price method of transfer door to door. Playa del Duque BeachesThe medium sized beach of Playa del Duque was originally composed of black volcanic sand, but since then golden sand has been imported and now many say that this is the best beach on the island. The northern end of the beach is made from large round black pebbles with a small section which is a mix of sand and pebble. The beach has sun loungers and parasols for hire and toilets, changing rooms and showers. The beach is backed by a wide promenade that continues almost all the way to Los Cristianos. There are several bars cafes and restaurants overlooing the beach.
