Nudist beaches & Naturist beaches on TenerifePlaya de La Pelada Playa de los Patos Playa de Diego Hernandez Playa de Las Gaviotas Playa de Montaña Amarilla Playa de Montaña Pelada Playa de la Tejita Punta del Puerto Punta del Callao The main nudist beaches are the following: Playa de La Pelada (El Medano)Playa de los Patos (La Orotava)Playa de Diego Hernandez (Adeje)Playa de Montaña Amarilla (San Miguel)Playa de Montaña Pelada (Granadilla)Playa de la Tejita (El Medano)Also known as Playa de Montana Roja. Tejita is pronounced T Heat a (T as in To, a as in hat)
Located south of El Medano Playa de la Tejita is about 10 min walk along a flat trail from the car park alongside the TF-643 road. The bus stop is about 200 yards along the road nearer to Los Abrigos from the car park, there is a smaller trail to the beach from the bus stop.
Bus Routes to Playa de la Tejita470 Los Cristianos - Grandilla Bus Stop required Tejita From the north of Tenerife 116 Santa Cruz- Grandilla Bus Stop required El Medano either walk 2-3 kilometres or change to a 470 or 483 bus to Tejita Gay section of Playa de la TejitaThe Playa de la Tejita gay beach is much smaller and just over the ridge next to the cafe, becomes cruisy if you continue into the rocks under the headland cliffs. Playa de Las Gaviotas (Santa Cruz)Playa de Las Gaviotas is located 1 kilometre, as the crow flies but 6 kilometres by road, North East of Las Teresitas beach near San Andres. Which in turn is North East of Santa Cruz. A car park and a small kiosk is located next to Playa de Las Gaviotas beach selling snacks and drinks Las Gaviotas beach is quiet small being about 200 metres by 40 metres and is composed of Tenerifes volcanic black sand. The beach is also popular with surfers. Getting to Playa de Las Gaviotas Nude beachThe practical way is by car or motor bike but 2 bus services are available. Bus Line 245: SANTA CRUZ to IGUESTE DE SAN ANDRÉSThere is an bus that travels along the main TF-121 which leaves a 1.5 kilometer walk from the main road Bus Line 910: INTERCAMBIADOR to SAN ANDRÉS (PLAYA TERESITAS)A very frequent bus service to San Andres with a much longer walk. If walking some corners can be cut off between the zig zags of the road. The shortcuts cross thorny land and not recommended unless a very obvious fot path trail is available. Punta del Puerto (Los Cristianos)The small headland is Punta del Puerto and the beach Punta del Callao Nude beach with gay sectionThe los Cristianos unofficial nude beach is on the left end as you face the sea, i.e. south east end, beyond the Arona hotel. The beach is a pebble beach with circular pebble windbreaks. There are no cafes or facilities but this may change as Los Cristianos extends it's building program into the area. At the extreme end of the beach and along the rocks under the cliff is a gay area cruisy during the day and at night you do not have to go as far. Roughly where the lights end in the housing area approximatly 100 metres inland. |
